| What does Check Point do for Tradespeople? |

HOW DOES CASAC CHECK POINT WORK FOR THE TRADESMEN, COMPANIES, & CONTRACTORS?
When a person needs a job doing they contact CCP and, depending on the type and size of the job, we refer it on to one of the approved tradesmen or companies on our register. We ask you to make contact with the customer and provide a quote before starting any work. Once the job is completed the customer pays you so there’s no delay with your payment getting held up by internal processes.
There is no joining fee or monthly membership fee. To help with the running costs of the scheme, we just ask you for 10% ‘commission’ of the charge you make to the customer for jobs obtained through CCP only. So, if the customer pays you £100 you will pay us just £10. This money is only payable once the customer pays you.
We are looking for anyone in the home maintenance business e.g. Builders, Plumbers, Decorators, Joiners and Gardeners etc. and also those who carry out other types of work, e.g. Ceramic tillers, Carpet fitters, Damp proof experts, Fencers, Hairdressers, Cleaners, TV/video repairers to name but a few! Our customers ask our Companies and Tradesmen to do everything from a dripping tap to full house extensions.
Tradesmen & contractors on our register are already feeling the benefits of the trust the public have in the scheme. They say they get a higher percentage of jobs quoted through us than through anywhere else and enjoy being part of a scheme which protects the reputation of honest legitimate tradesmen who just want to do an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay.
