| Composite Doors |

A composite door is an effective way of upgrading home security, improving insulation and sound proofing. Composite doors are made up from a variety of materials, including PVC, wood, insulating foam and GRP (glass reinforced plastic). This combination of materials results in a door that is very strong, secure and resistant to the elements.

All composite doors supplied by CASAC meet Secured by Design (SBD) Police standards. Door assemblies must pass BS:PAS 23 General Performance Requirements (excluding annexes) and BS:PAS 24 Enhanced Security Requirements. Doors must also pass the end bolt test, which simulates an attack on the bolt. This is a specific requirement of SBD licensing. Testing must be carried out at an UKAS accredited test house. Secured by Design is the official UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of 'designing out crime'.
