CASAC (Community Action and Support Against Crime) is recruiting further board members

CASAC (Community Action and Support Against Crime) is a local crime prevention organisation, working in partnership with West Yorkshire Police, Safer Leeds and Leeds City Council. We are currently looking to expand our current team of Board members.

Since 1996, CASAC Partnership Limited has been working locally in Chapeltown and Harehills (and city wide from 2001), developing and managing community safety initiatives in partnership with local communities, the West Yorkshire Police, local council representatives and voluntary and statutory organisations.  CASAC’s mission is to: “work towards achieving a situation where every individual can live their lives free from crime and in safer communities”.

Our success is proven by the fact that, despite extreme rapid growth, particularly in the last 3 years, commitment, morale and enthusiasm among staff and management remain high.  At the same time, our funders, partners and clients are clearly impressed and appreciative of the good work that we have undertaken.

One of the key challenges now facing CASAC is to continue to provide high levels of service and to involve more people living in the areas in which we work.  CASAC are actively looking to recruit additional board members to add to our existing board.
