Neil Goldup

Neil Goldup

Neil started his career with CASAC in 2001 as a Safety Engineer, visiting vulnerable properties, assessing existing security measures and recommending/fitting additional precautions. He moved into the role of senior Engineer in 2004 where he promoted CASAC's services to community groups, local councillors, community safety co-ordinators and neighbourhood policing teams, as well as at burglary reduction strategy meetings.

Neil became the Acting Director of CASAC in December 2007, and was then promoted to Chief Executive in July 2008. Unlike many people in high level management, this career progression makes Neil a rare commodity – a CEO with both administrative and practical hands on experience. In his roles as Acting Director and Chief Executive, Neil has attracted considerable public and private funding to CASAC, turning the enterprise around.
